Clarity, through wisdom, enables decisions

Wisdom is
Knowledge plus Experience plus Expertise

Wisdom is

KNOWLEDGE that comes from Research. Research that we curate with academic thoroughness, passionate inquisitiveness, relentless curiosity and an endless learning process. Research that is:

Handcrafted
Tailor made
Covering all client needs including time and budget

We perform all kinds of research and we employ a variety of methodologies, techniques and tools. More importantly, we specifically and diligently design unique approaches per study crafted to answer the specific questions for the specific client.

Wisdom is

EXPERIENCE that comes from consistent hands-on work by time by depth by breadth.

25 continuous years digging deep towards understanding and explaining human motivation and behaviour
Covering all product and services categories
Working local and global

We know a lot, but we learn everyday.

Wisdom is

employing EXPERTISE. We are Market Research experts. But, we cannot know and have experience in everything. Especially in a world that is developing and changing fast, bursting technologies and unpredictable needs. So we engage in ad-hoc (and not so ad-hoc) co-operations drafting EXPERTISE from other fields.

Decisions

Decisions

Decisions differ in terms of risks, stakes, effects, urgencies,

(from picking a new hue for packaging to 5-year brand strategy),

yet, at the given moment, it is THIS decision that matters.

Clarity, always through wisdom, enables decision makers to be thorough, yet inspired in their planning, self-confident versus accountability and fearless towards opportunity.

The principles that guide our research

  • The insight is somewhere out there.
We just need to find it.

  • Inform each day of fieldwork with the insights of the previous ones.

  • Rules can be broken.

  • Pay attention.

  • Embrace observing as second nature.

  • Eavesdrop continuously.

  • Respect the consumer.

  • Invest in quality recruitment.

  • Be resourceful in customizing methods and techniques.

From Challenge to Solution

It is the challenge that guides the road to the solution.

We know the way – and when we don’t – we will find it.

Our Stories

Korina's Bio

BY LIANA

When I met Korina, she already had her degree and PhD in Social Psychology and was starting a career in Market Research.

Being one of her students in her psychology and research methodology courses, she inspired me to follow this intriguing field. Following her academic career, Korina worked for almost 20 years as Qualitative Director and Client Service Director in main agencies, dealing with big local and multinational clients, in a wide range of industries and services.

We worked together, laughing – and sometimes crying – our hearts out for several years, creating amazing work and getting every time closer and closer to each other. She then decided to further pursue her career abroad working for pharma research and F&B marketing in the UK and the Middle East, while expanding her academic knowledge to include European Civilization and Museum Studies. Despite the distance we never stopped exchanging ideas and debating on the future of our field, especially following the global financial crisis of the last decade along with the technological accessibility revolution.

Korina’s return to Greece allowed us to make our dream come true and implement the idea of “Nous – Everyday Learning”, which we proudly present.

Liana's Bio

BY KORINA

Liana fell for the magic spell of market research very young, as an intern in a multinational company. I was lucky to be there.

She learned (the very hard way) all the perks of the job and – for some extraordinary reason – she decided to keep the beautiful and inspiring parts of it. Even after two years away for postgraduate studies in Psychology and Business Administration, when she could have easily been allured to any other field, she came back and chose to work in market research and to be one of the first employees of a new startup research agency.

For more than 15 years she gave clients, brands and products deep insights, clear directions, miles and miles of extra miles. She left an indelible mark in the agency’s legend. I was lucky to be there. Over the years she ignored all temptations to move away from market research.

And today, more than 10 years since we officially worked together, she is bringing all her wisdom and beauty into this wonderful next step we decided to call “Nous – Everyday Learning”. I am so lucky to be here with her.
